WIE

IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is one of the largest international professional organizations dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists, and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests in a career in engineering. Initiated in 2010, the Wie CET Chapter has been striving to encourage and empower girls of the college to shine in the field of engineering. The chapter has been conducting workshops, talks and a myriad of competitions and technical projects with the aim of improving the technical, communication and managerial skills of all students.

The Chapter has a total of 127 members. The most recent event organised by the chapter was a mock placement drive. Our next endeavour is a series of events covering the nuances of placements which is conducted as a follow up to the mock placement drive. The first session will be held on the 4 th of October.
