About IEEE Region 10
The IEEE Region 10, also sometimes referred as the Asia Pacific Region, comprises 57 Sections, 6 Councils, 17 Sub-sections, 515 Chapters, 60 Affinity Groups and 958 Student Branches. It covers a geographical area stretching from South Korea and Japan in the north-east to New Zealand in the south, and Pakistan in the west. The 2017 IEEE Region 10 Conference (TENCON) will be held at The Wembley St. Giles Premier Hotel, Penang, Malaysia on 5 – 8 November 2017. TENCON is a premier international technical conference of IEEE Region 10, which comprises 57 Sections, 6 Councils, 21 Subsections, 514 Chapters and 1159 Student Branches in the Asia Pacific region. The theme for TENCON 2017 is Bridging the Gap.
IEEE TENSYMP is the Spring conference of IEEE Region 10. TENSYMP 2017 will be held at the picturesque location in Cochin, Kerala, India. Located in God’s own Country, Cochin, also known as Kochi and Ernakulam, is ranked as one of the best tourist destinations in India.
50 YEARS CELEBRATIONS
The event, themed “Technology – Global Change Agent” and taking place in the evening on 24 August 2016 at Hotel Lalit Ashok in Bengaluru, will inaugurate a year-long series of celebrations throughout the Asia-Pacific Region, culminating in Sydney in mid-2017.
